Hey, these make undertaking the job SO much easier. Well worth the cash for other jobs too. $30 at Canton Tire. Don't get the cheaper set as they not only have fewer sizes to match your application, but also the ends aren't hardedned like these are.

hahah, sorry I'm at work and got sidetracked fixing somenes problem here and posted thinking I'd actually said what they were.

They are stripped screw extractors, and even if they aren't stripped, they grab really well to get those ridiculously tight shallow phillips head body screws out so they can be later replaced with something a little more user friendly than phillips.

Kelly :-D

It worked fine for me, but I see a couple poor reviews by others on the can tire site? maybe improper use/ not knowing how to hold a drill level.

I have a set (only two) and they work fine if you let them work for you...e.i: take your time and dont force them like crazy. particularly useful on rusty screw with WD 40 8-)

Those Ez-outs really work well with screw grab, Kelly. I really swear by this stuff, used either for the wet foot well fix or the allan keys to remove the front hub (Delicat?), it provides an extra secure grip. Last for ages and causes a cheap Cambodian tire screwdriver to break before the screw head strips.

Figure it can save on busted knuckles too.
