Auxilary Gauge Cluster Pod Panel (or whatever it's called)

Post by impalator »

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody would happen to have some info for me:

I am looking at adding an extra one of these "Auxiliary Instrument Pod's" or whatever they're called (the thing with the altimeter, the incline/decline-meter? and the inside/outside thermometer) to fit with some extra "important" gauges... (turbo booster, exhaust temp-meter, maybe a battery amp-meter)... and was wondering if anybody has a spare one, ripped theirs out, knows where to get one etc. etc.

I've seen versions with only two dials... would be ok too. (Then I wouldn't have to think too hard what to make the third dial...)... I don't even know at this point where I would mount it... probably in front of the passenger... That way, since you are just co-piloting, you feel much more in charge as passenger if you get to read some important dials too... more like a board-mechanic or first engineer rather than just a boring Delica-passenger... 8-) (like: "Hey buddy, can you just give me the most current turbo reading... and while you're at it.... what does the battery charge do? Can't check it myself as I am operating the gas pedal and piloting the vessel."...) So much fun....

Am I crazy? Anyway, thanks for any ideas...

Cheers, Chris
