moon roof clearance

Hi
New to the forum but have been doing a bit of browsing.
I just picked up my Delica the other day and it is a low roof with a moon roof.
I want to put a roof rack/basket up there and know that the standard mounts
for the thule / yakima racks will clear the roof. Not sure by how much but they will.
The only thing is I don't know how the moon roof works/clears when open.
Being cold in Saskatoon at the moment and the fact that I washed it and the roof
has a nice frozen ice seal now it's not going to open easily.

Anyone have a picture of how it sits when fully open?
:)
James

hi, those moonroof is the normal problem with this low roof delica.
it usually snap the cable or the motor is shot when get old.
its just a bad design. if its cold in your area, wait until you have it in a warm area so you can try to open if not leave it that way for now.
hope this help
cheers;
mardy

Do you know how high the moonroof is when open on the roof?
Pretty flush?

G'day,

It opens inside the roof so you won't have a problem with your roofrack. :-D
