ANYONE GOING TO VANCOUVER FROM COOMBS AREA?

hola amigos,

i can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

i have found a guy on craigslist that is driving from Vancouver to baja mexico :-D :o  8-) he would like to leave tomorrow mornin, however will wait an extra day.

Glenn is hopefully finalizing the rebuild with the block today and getting it shipped over. however, i am not sure how it is going to work on the other end. from getting it from the shipper onto the back of this guys truck.

So a couple things if there is anyone able to help.
1. getting it over to vancouver without the shipping costs and more timely for my new friend, Jason, who will be bringing it down.
2. on the other end in vancouver, if anyone would be able to, if needed, get the block on the back of jasons truck.

mucho mucho gracias

Bueno,

As it stands you will have a Baja-bound block in a crate made by Glen's dad (nice fellow) ,on the ferry tomorrow and into your contacts truck in horseshoe bay.
He has got some loose ends to tie up in our fair land and then down he goes south to vacation and of course provide a heart transplant to your Deli!

Pretty Crazy
but should be
Right on 8-)

Hello

I am willing to offer help with my crane truck if you need it lifted in to the guys truck. Let me know, I am located on Commercial drive in Vancouver. Good luck!

Hey,
Met up with Jason in Horseshoe Bay this morning and loaded your short block into his truck.
He is on his way to a 10 week surf haitus in and around Todos Santos, lucky duck.
Nice chap too ,we remarked about the upsides of the internet in this particular situation.
He should be well on his way by now he figures about 5 days to his destination.

Things all went pretty smooth, super good weather ,even met an old guy on the ferry who knew a whole
bunch about wvo and deisels as long as I kept giving him smokes!

Good luck with the rest, take your time, take lots of pictures!
(and go surf)
Glad to help , I think Glen, his Dad and crew at CC , Jason and You are the big guns in this Deli mission, I just folded
the map the last little bit between Coombs and North Vancouver, the rest is actuall fairly straight ahead! (Obama-Nation willing)

Right on 8-)

- Delicanadabc , crane truck eh!...cool ,luckily it was a two man lift, not too bad.
