I need to find a manual for a 91 pajero diesel.
also does any one know if the 91' had ABS on them?
The mechanic said that he cannot pass out of province until the Abs light on my dash goes away???
I was always told that the orange light (the back end of a vehicle with two squigly lines running from the back of it)
was telling me that there is ice on the road due to my thermometer not working.
Any clues?
Thus that is why I need a manual to show the mechanic. He will not take my word for it.

You're looking for the V6 model with ABS F/R (ABS ring)

It may be a multitude of things.

ABS valve relay
ABS motor relay
warning light itself (short connection)
steering wheel sensor
warped rotors
malfunctioning caliper
cracked ABS ring
wheel speed sensor
ABS-ECU
hydraulic unit


Solenoid, ABS pump motor, fuse link.. if you remove the fuse link or it's blow, it will cause the ABS light to stay on.

The abs light will remain on if the abs pump motor runs occasionally for more than two minutes (usually indicates low brake fluid level or a bad accumulator).

Just tell your mechanic to ignore the engine and where the steering wheel is located.

Your mechanic should have an OB2 scanner and with that he/she can test teh ABS system and see what error code it brings up.

The entire truck is identical to the north american version = montero. Manual's are the same.

I've owned both montero/pajero for several years and had to deal with a few ABS issues. Same deal. light stays on or flickers on inconsistently.

Delica's didn't have ABS until the 2nd Gen (L400) Spacegear's (same as the Gen II montero/pajero's)

You don't need a Pajero manual.

Just pickup a Montero manual from Lordco. Same vehicle except for the engine.
