Idle speed

Ok, so bear with me here, or is it bare...damn.. anyhow, on our lovely vehicles, where on the IP would I adjust the idle speed? I can see the obvious spot in the throttle linkage.. but I'm not sure. Sorry I don't have a pic.

We EFI gas kids are a wimpy bunch, my idle speed is a tad low, and it's causing my ps pump to make the PS shudder ever so slightly, and I desire perfection!

Thanks in advance guys!!!

that "obvious place" on the throttle linkage is exactly the place.

At the forward end of the IP is a screw that looks like a bolt and has a nut on it that holds it in place in a bracket. It pushes against a metal fitting that is all connected to the throttle. This screw-bolt is the idle adjustment. If you turn it to the right (tighter), you will increase the idle. If you turn it to the left (looser), you will decrease the idle.

There is also a bracket on the IP that adjusts the "kick-down linkage", it's the one with the squiggley little red hose on it. This controls the shifting pattern and is connected to the tranny. The bracket has two 8mm bolts that hold it in place. Underneath the squiggley hose is a little beady thingy on a wire. Ideally the closer the beady thingy is to a little cup-like receptacle on the aft end of the available wire (under the squiggley hose) the better. I tend to like my shifts to take place at 2,500 RPM. If you are still not sure then consult the IP manual in Delica Wiki. Hope this all helps :-D !
