I am not sure where to post this so I picked here. The other day my dog was ran over and while transporting her to the vets in my Jeep there ended up being blood that soaked into the seat. Does anyone know of a product that would work to get that out?

As for the dog, amazingly she is okay. She had road rash, down to the bone and even in the bone but is healing well.

Glad your dog is okay! I think you can try alcohol based cleaner.

For the seat: Do not use a hair dryer or anything hot, nor salt, as will "Set" the stain, until you have thoroughly removed the stain. Keep edges of stain damp so can't "set".

Spray Febreeze onto fabric till damp (or any spray designed to remove pet odours, they are all enzymatic cleaners -- good for biological stains, pet store may have a stronger one for pet toilet stains). let work a couple minutes. Take water damp towels, and blot as much as possible, keep changing to clean surface (then put in water to soak so those towels don't get stained). Use a shop vac to keep sucking water out of the fabric (just put the hose nozzle flat on the stain), instead of just pushing the stain further down into the fabric. Repeat Febreeze spray several times.

If need more cleaning, carpet shampoo use full strength, or make a paste with warm water and Oxy-Pro powder (get the generic version, cheaper), immediately put the paste on while the bubbling of the chemical and hot water occurs, let sit 30 minutes, vacuum off, wipe off, apply again. Oxy-pro may slightly bleach the fabric a bit (I think if is like a hydrogen peroxide).

Nasty - Sure hope dog recovers fully - Oh, and that you get that stain out too!
