Fuel filters seem to be available mostly everywhere, and I can just grab one through napa or Lordco, but which would be the best to get?

Micro may be? When my van came from Japan it had Micro oil & fuel filters.

The following is from the WIX website. I use 51067 and have noticed in other forums that other ppl are using it aswell.

Take note the thread difference. WIX lists that both these filters will work for 4d56 engines but i'm confused due to the connection diference. Anybody have any insight??

one is an oil filter and one is fuel i believe, the second one is listed as a lube filter.

The filters you listed are oil filters, Chewy question is for fuel filters.

one says fuel one says lube (oil).

it sure does....i guess I start to see things after a few hours in front of the computer screen at work.

on sale now for $ 18 reg. is 25 up to end of this month. cheaper than lordco( Fram)

hey when you change the fuel filter do you have to pinch the lines? i dont think so but just wanted to make sure.
im going with the WIX filter from NAPA.

no Patty,you dont have to, just pump for +/- 5 min after putting it back in place( you will feel it when it get harder). very easy thing to do IF the water sensor is not stuck( like mine was!!!). pedro

as in pump the gas pedal? or squeeze one of the lines?

On top of the fuel filter head there's a circular part, it's a hand pump. Press it down a bunch of times to bring the fuel back into your filter. You might not have to do it for 5 min but again, have fun!
