Cariboo Camperization

I have now found the best reason to have a high roof Delica. Nothing better for camping in the Cariboo than a good leather LazyBoy:
Reclined
It even slides back and forth to make more room:
And the sub is pointed into the back for that massage feature:
It may be the best option ever, and it saves having to build a bed. Room on either side for a sink and counter, table for the laptop, hook into stereo, and its a mobile home theater.

Where's the duct tape and Pilsner seat cushion?
You should think about a big hole in the seat - straight through to the road. It can be like the Homer Simpson Lay-Z-Boy crapper!

I hate to wreck a good chair by cutting a hole in it, but a hole in the floor for ice fishing could be arranged.
Many of my friends lost all skepticism when they sat inside and reclined, it just feels so natural, and it is damn fine to sleep in now. I haven't tried riding off road back there yet, but Sunday a bunch of local wheelers are heading out and I can test it then.

PS - Adam I can be a proxy dad :D

I've now spent a few nights sleeping in the chair, and it sure beats the hell out of the vans floor, warmer and softer. Now that I have some time off I can start working on the rest of the pieces - table, tool storage, inverter and extra battery and so on...
James
... and maybe an electric side door with that cool Trek swish. Where can I get that sound effect?

Oh man...you are true inspiration.
I've got my dearly departed grandads leather lazyboy upstairs...raretly get's used.
When the kids (or at least one) is somewhat not here any more (I've been told they never really leave...I'm ok with that!) - I'll be doing this mod!!!!!
Now that's the definition of stylin!
