The pads are hiding in the 4th from last pic :-D

L400's and Pajero/Montero (Gen II's) came with flanges on the front hubs instead of the auto hubs you see commonly on L300's.

It's because the super select transfercase/4wd system is different, or lightyears better to put it simply. 8-)

I was taught from a very early age that using just a jack to hold up a car you're working on is bad news (and bloody dangerous). That's what jackstands are for.

Then again, I use a torque wrench when I change tires. Go figure. :-)

If I don't have jack stands I put the wheel I just took off under somewhere low and close to stop if from going all the way to the ground, can turn a fatal or crippling mistake into a "holy shitake that was close" :shock: , but a jack stand is always better.
