Start up problems.....still (same boat as Green 1??)

Ok I am still having start up problems despite new glow plugs, new ecu, new fuel filter. For the last few days since 2 of 4 glow plugs were replaced it started great....idling needed to be adjusted but that was it. Now I am back to crap cranking and my battery is isn't taking it too well either. When it gets going all is well and start up when warm is all good. Glow Plugs?

I am skeptical about the new ECU. It was replaced....but here in Norway the L300 does not use one.....instead it uses a simple relay. Mitsubishi dealer told me they put in a GENERIC mitsu ecu because they seem to think it controls more than just glow plugs??

I WANT TO GO TO BASICS AND bypass the ecu. Has anyone tried this? I read here somewhere about a wire from battery to button on the dash being done. This is driving me crazy and I just want my glow plugs NORMAL!

:-(

put a voltmeter on the glowplug bus-bar, if it is getting voltage (approximately 10v) when you use the glow plugs then the ECU is ok for this purpose (however you could still have bad plugs, you say only 2/4 were replaced?)

Is there any way you can check yourself if the injector pump is functioning properly? Leaks, Pressure ect??

only if it's leaking badly enough that fuel is coming out somewhere, beyond that I think I'd leave it for the professionals...
