most importers claim 30mpg (despite none of us quite getting there) but 40... he's optimistic!

Actually it's not that great of a mileage, I just did 1000km with under 10L of diesel...

is any one even breaking 25MPG? i was around 23 but have dropped to 15MPG, changed all filters since then but its probably something new gone wrong.

I average 12.2L/100Km around the streets of Vancouver, and a little better out on the highway.

Even if it were IMP gallons it still would be 7lt/100 km. That's what I get now on the highway or better in my Outback.

My 2000km trip within the last month which included idling overnight (while I slept)
and both highway and city travel was computed at 26 mpg. I keep track
of it to write it off for taxes (reciepts and mileage)
