Nervous April Fools Wednesday

My van goes into the shop today for the timing belt / waterpump
and all the belt , tensioner etc etc work. The guy has worked
on them in the past before he opened his shop up in Canada.
Still a bit nervous, parts are there and waiting. I didn't know if
he had the work manual for what's going on (with specs) so I
printed off the pdf for the work being done. Hope he doesn't take
that the wrong way :) I will be super relieved when this is
done.
That being said it's been a tough week. The car had a surprise
'need' for work yesterday morning. My wife happened to mention
a 'noise' the previous evening and I took it for a drive.. hmm
interesting grinding noise. So after shocks, cv's, struts etc etc
brakes, rotors.... $2100 after tax. <sigh>
Anyway, hope I don't feel the fool after the van gets out of the shop
and doesn't run as good as it did going in.
Cross your fingers.
Just a bit of nerves.. Yogi (yup, that's his name) sounds pretty
straight up that he knows what he's doing.

I think the 1990 Delica has gotten nicknamed by
my friends as the 'APC' since it looks like an old
armored personnel carrier to them.
