Thats awsome, I wonder where they are going that they need that much heat, I sure hope they burp the system befor going on a long trip, that would buld a Massive vapor lock, doesent mention if they are adding an aditional inline pump to take some of that extra load of the little water pump the van comes with...
I hope they post picts of it all when finished. sounds like they have really put alot of thought into it.
Yup, Very impressive.

Only Problem or consideration may be.. in the summer time.. heat will still be moving through
the piping.
Could make for a warm summer.

I think they are plumbing it to the heater hose which, I think, only flows when you have the temp set to hot? so slide the temp on the back over to the blue and it should not get hot.

water still flows regardless of where the "knobs" are set. It just redirects air across the heater core or from outside. Unless Delicas are different than every other vehicle......besides the obvious:)

Meanman,
That's one thing I wanted to confirm when I was plumbing my heated veggie tank. I removed both coolant hose attaching to the rear heater and blew air through one opening. It blasted the remaining of the coolant through the other opening so I doubt there would be a valve in there. (Some vehicle have them but not common.)
In my case I didn't have "T's" to plumb my new coolant lines to the existing ones (for the rear heater) so I completely removed one hose and instead attached my veggie heating coolant line to one end, looped through my tank and brought the line back to the rear heater. (now instead of being a 8" line it became a 15' line detour!
Only thing I have to confirm is if it matters which of the two coolant lines I chose? (In or out line...)

it makes little difference which side you plumb in unless there's blockage in the heater core.
