Suffering from Delica withdrawal

I've been in Halifax for a day now, and not a single bus to be seen! :-(

There is no lack of exhaust belching though, there are so many smokers here that you'd think the people in Halifax are diesel powered!

I miss my Landmaster...

I'm here for a month, I'm so screwed!

(Sung in the key of Evita)

Don't cry for me Delica,
The truth is, I didn't import you,
In all my wild days, this Halifax existence,
I kept (up) my maintenance, Don't keep your (West Coast) distance....

Testify brothers!

Well out exploring on dirt roads in a 2wd pickup yesterday, all members of our family were quoted as saying ‘wish we had the Delica’. At one point running back to the truck, from a cave 5kms from the nearest village, because of a light sprinkle of rain causing worry of not making it out. And a kid accustomed to the Delica back area as his domain, complete with cooler loaded with healty snacks and drinks, games – electronic (wii!) and old fashioned, movies, and of course seating choices galore: the back ‘nook’ of an extended cab Nissan is comparably a prision (or so he made it seem). :-D

Wish we could have gone on the Delica camp.

And David, Delica-less for 5 months this summer? A summer that long, does that mean your spending 5 months south? 8-)

Best Regards,
Kev

Hi Kevin,

I'll be spending the summer in Europe this time, mostly Northern Europe (Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Poland, France...) Wanna come and visit us?

At least Delicat may see a Delica or two while he's in Europe, the closest I've seen to any RHD goodness was a 1/10 scale Pajero!
