Headlight, extra connectors?

Okay folks last week i attempted to reseal the front quarter panels but didnt succeed due to stubborn screws on the last bit.

Part of this process meant removing the headlight, whilst i was removing mine i noticed a spare connector. Is this normal or wht am i missing? I cant seem to find a receptive connection on the headlight unit itself.
I do know my front lights on bullbar have never worked/no switch is this related? ie on main beam all the front lights light up?

pic below highlighting the offender  the connector to the right (on my little finger  ) is the only one i needed to disconnect to remove the headlamp assembly.

thanks in advance

Miller,

Take a test light to the phantom plug and start doing the trial and error dance to see what turns up, or on.

My harness only has the 3 prong on my 92 , and didn't come with any fog lights.

From memory I can't be sure, but I think that may be the connector for the side cornering light (white light directly bellow the side amber signal light, comes on solid whenever you signal that direction)
