Here is a power steering contest for the enthusiasts who know enough about the subject.
The pictures below explain the issue. First 3 ones and 2 others were taken 2 weeks apart. The circled nut shown on the pictures was loose and was tighten 2 weeks ago. Since that I took part in the long weekend camping trip and I was driving back and forth between North Van and Langley for 2 weeks thinking that everithing was OK. Another day I took a look at the undercarriage and found the familiar leak; not as bad as the first time but the steering fluid level was under the minimum: I put about 150 ml in to fill it up.
So far I have 2 questions:
1. WTH is going on, what could be the cause of the issue?
2. Is it true that using ATF (Dexron II) for power steering is not causing any problems?

Hey,
Check above there too for leaks (above the axle) could be coming from a bit higher up.

If you think its for sure coming from that nut,back it right off(yogurt container to catch all the fluid)
and check that there is not a crack in the line right
above the nut(usually a flare fitting nut you can move the nut up from the flare a bit,like a brake line)
Clean it up a good as you can and put it back on(if it's not cracked or anything.)
Fill your reservoir again and fire up yer van.
To bleed power steering you usually turn nice and slow from side to side a bunch,with the motor running to get the air out.
Check for leaks again of course.
