opinions on preferred re-sellers

Hi all,
New to the list. I've been looking at these for some time now and getting closer to commitment.
Now, I know this is a loaded question, and highly subjective, but I'd like to hear more feedback good, bad and ugly on local BC importers/sellers.
I'm in Victoria and see a number of sellers on the island and lower mainland and I think the competition is increasing w/ the demand.
I think a direct email is preferred (I believe my address displays) as I don't want to be responsible for starting some kind of battle or endless "he says, she says" thread.
Cheers,

Read over a lot of the posts on the site, you will soon get a feel for what the local impoters/dealers are like. There are definatly good and not so good people to deal with. There seem to be many good resources on the Island though.

Try Glen from ccauto's. He preps the van's for 5 Star in parksville and knows his stuff. Good guy and good vibs.
Dispite what some have found, I have found VI in Coombs good to deal with. I have a Delica being preped by them as we speak. Piles of parts which is always a nice thing to know. Talk to Tony.
I started with VI first and found out about ccauto's after I gave my deposit to VI. Like I said, I have talked to both and have been pleased.

I completely agree with both Trent and Josh. I to really like CCauto and bought a great rig from VI.

If you're looking for someone in BC I had good experiences with JDM Wholesale in Delta, they handled everything for me, cost was good, and they stand behind what they sell.
**** EDIT: removing my recomendation for Luxury imports due to their recent change in attitude slandering the entire import process, flinging baseless accusations at other importers and exporters, and admission of illegal importing ****

I recently have purchased from Terra2imports and was very happy with their attention to detail and communication. I managed to pick up a 3.5 grade super exceed for substainlly less than the prices on the lots of many of the dealers on the island and mainland.
When I saw some auction vehicles I wanted to bid on, they sent their inspector out and told me not to bid due to underbody condition, not represented like auction sheet said, etc.
Now I do not have the vehicle here yet

, but from the pictures and report it looks sweet, But the guys at Terra2 haven't let me down yet.
Good luck on your search. 8)
