Diesel in Victoria is about $.91 right now, how much is it in other island locations? We're heading for Campbell River tomorrow morning. Yee Haw ! Going camping at last! :-D 8-)

Funny, I have no clue what diesel costs :-D I see petrol is up around a buck, but that's well advertised at every fuel station while the diesel seldom is. We get ours at the card-lock where the pump doesn't have the price - just the volume. Makes no never mind anyway - I don't buy any more or less 'cause of the price.
Hope you campers had a fun trip - pictures? The weather was sure nice, as far as Campbell River anyway. No rain at all until late this afternoon! Perfect Victoria Day wknd weather! :-D

We don't buy more or less either, but on one trip up to Rathtrevor to meet the other deli-ites, it was 5 cents more in Duncan than Victoria, which is pretty unusual. We usually go to co-op because we get our cheque in December from them for being members. It is a bit of a PO about the prices not being posted though, you have to pull in to find out the price and then decide if you are going to pay that ransom or the one down the street. In Victoria, it makes no difference where you go, they all have the same price. (can you say price fixing??)

One major difference for us is that since we put the new Super wench hubs on, we are getting significantly better mileage, probably 10 - 15% better. Thanks Jesse!!

It was very lonely camping without any other delis around, just lots of big honking NA trucks and campers! But the weather was wonderful, just a sprinkle on Friday night and we got to pack dry, which is always a bonus. Went exploring for new locations, found a sweet one on Gray Lake. And....finally got a picture of dogs in delica, will download it later and post it.
