I will head out to 20Mile Bay or Kirkland Creek on Harrison West next weekend (the May 23rd weekend). Kirkland Creek is another 15km north of 20 Mile (34 km from the Morris Valley Road). Likely I will leave Vancouver on Friday early evening. Anyone wanna join us?

Hi Sebastian,
I'm interested, but I need to check Jay's schedule. I read somewhere recently that 20 mile bay was closed (due to tree or road washout?). Are you Bolering?
Has anyone else been up Harrison West this year yet?
Christine

Hi Christine,
My friend went by 20 Mile Bay a couple of weeks ago and said that the camp site was fine. I am towing the Boler out. The road is fine.
cheers,
seb

We're heading up to whistler this weekend to pick up some friends, so if I can talk Nat into doing the traverse of the lake on the way back we might be swinging past on Saturday. Any idea how long it would take to drive from the highway at the north end to Harrison?
We'll be scoping out for campsites along the way for future reference, so we won't be going at warp factor 9.

Hi Jaz,
I will be at the main 20 Mile Bay campsite. It will take approximately 5 hours to come from the north end. But it will take about an hour to get back onto Morris Valley Road. If you take the north end down, make sure that you have enough fuel.
The main 20 Mile Bay campsite is located about 34km from the south end. There is a long straight road right down to the lake. If you drive down that road, just a short way, there is a left turn. Turn left and follow the road, then turn right (there is a gate there) into the campground. It is a forestry campground.
Hopefully, I will see you there!
cheers,
seb
