I would venture a guess that the Canadian military will be getting these to replace the tired MLVW or "deuce" especially since they already use the G wagon. Very cool.

Only after our government demands and then dictates "Canadian content" requirements, which, in the end, will be something as ridiculous as having the three-point Mercedes-Benz star replaced with a maple leaf.

Not quite Loki, Mercedes has always had 4x4 / 6x6 trucks.

No portal axles!?

No portals but is has diff locks, besides they still make Unimogs. As you know Sasquatch, portals are high maintenance compared to a solid axel set up but they should offer it as an option anyway.
