Anyone want to be on TV in Vancouver today?
Global TV is interviewing me (IVOAC) at 1:00 today (Friday) about RHD's and the story looks very promising.
I'd love to have a Delica or two (or more) present as well. The interview is at 1:00pm at Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam at the parking lot on Pinetree Way. (it's before you reach the star on the map right in front of the lake).

well, it all worked out well - we'll be on Global news at 6:00 tonight (Vancouvger Ch 11) and it will be posted on their website too.

Go Here:
http://www.globaltv.com/globaltv/bc/video/index.html
Under the Blue "Global video" Bar, click the "News hour" button, click "Stories" to expand the list, then scroll down the list and find "Right Hand Drive".
Although it features the same lies, misinformation and buzzwords of fear from ICBC and the CADA, there was a little more balance in the reporting this time, as RHD owners got the chance to state our case. Still biased, but a little more balanced than what I'm used to from the media.

Global mentioned that the primary opposition seems to be coming from car dealers (a first in the media, as far as I know), and more than one person has noted that the CADA and ICBC spokesmen both had accents that did not exactly say Made in Canada. They can immigrate, but cars can't, apparently.

anyone considered submitting a freedom of information request about ICBC....they're part of the public domain, and probably have been under the influence of CADA.....

This has already been done by the IVOAC. That's how we know how ridiculous their "40%" study is. More is in the works.
