The Delica has a standard double-DIN frame. The wiring harness is the late-1980 Dodge Colt or 1987-94 Mitsubishi Van (the delica came into the US those years under the name 'van'.
Future slop did mine, and all was fine until recently when one of the screws came loose and the deck now wiggles.
So any stereo should work just fine, and any shop should be able to do it.
By the way, if you have the "audio stage" in the back, it will cease working.
Here are the instructions for doing much of the dash work:

Just did my stereo 20 minutes ago.
Got all the parts I needed fom futureshop.
Got all the info I needed from this forum.
If DYI get the wiring color codes ,the wiring adapter had a couple of extra wires for the type of stereo I bought so it was very helpful to double check which wires it was ok to tape off and forget.
I gotta say that the wiring harness that they sell @ FS looks like cheap plastic garbage...but that's only because it is cheap plastic garbage.
I believe that FS would probably be able to do the install for you. I found a sales guy named Ravi at the one on broadway between Granville and Burrard and he knew all the parts I needed (which for a FS sales guy is a fricking marvel.)
Good luck.

Yah, that Future shop kit doesn't do the Job.
If you plan on ANY off-road trips, just put in a Double Din.
It bolts correctly to the current dash frame rails and will not shake loose. I have lost track of how many stereo installs I have done so lets just say I am experienced. I did the Future Shop Single DIN to Double Din kit. After a few WOOD SCREWS and Glue Gun I though it was going to be all good. The Stereo was a single DIN with the little pocket tray space underneath to take up the space of the Double DIN adapter. I had to attach the 2Din adapter and the Stereo to the Dash Fascia as I couldn't get the stereo spaced correctly in the metal Dash rails.
Long Story Short.... Expensive Stereo rattle right out after one trip down the Comox Logging Road.
Just get the proper DOUBLE DIN DECK and save yourself a head-ache.
I got mine from EBAY and it is a Double Din TV/DVD/CD/SD/Kitchen Sink that fits perfect and won't fall out.
If your on Vancouver Island, I can get you one from Ebay and Install it for a nominal fee and its done right the first time!
Cheers all.

anyone happen to have the mounting hardware? My van had not radio and no bracket when I got it, I am now on my second stock deck that is just sitting in the hole and falls into the dash sometimes, would be nice to secure it properly :)

I just tore out the plug/female part from the old original JDM deck, found the wiring-mapping here:
http://www.delica.ca/forum/radio-wiring ... -3830.html
..then soldered the deck's wires to the old plug's appropriate connector, caked it all in silicone for insulation, then plugged it into the stock plugs and all's good. Also wired the deck's wire labelled "To Accessory" direct to an always-hot wire with a switch between, so I can have the stereo on with the keys out (eg. for camping).
