Headlight Switch Not Working? I Fix Them!!!

Hey All. I'll fix your Headlight Switch Assembly for a nominal fee!!! No need to buy that $350.00 one.
Hi guys, I recently got a Jasper in and the running lights were not working. So after a little fault finding and wire chasing it was evident that the switch assembly was at fault. When I was down at CCA in Coobs, Graham gave me another Headlight switch assembly that was not working well either. Weird Thing, it had the same problem as the Jasper one.... Since I have about 3 Delicas in the drive way (Some of which are for Private Sale), I was able to Substitute them into working vans and diagnosed that both switches were defective for the same reason. So, since I am a trained Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and have a Micro-Miniature Electronics Repair Certification, I dis-assembled the switch. I think its called the Combination switch (correct me if I am wrong). SO, easy for me to do dis-assebly as I have done this sort of thing many times as part of my previous training. ( I even get all the parts back in without any "extra" screws laying around). With the proper dis-assembly method and proper cleaning fluids and abrasives, I was able to get both switches working 100%. Those people having a problem with the switch and don't want to pay $350.00 for a new one, can get their old one refurbished. Providing the small plastic ball lever assembly is not broken. However, that can be repaired too.
Price is 2 hours labour so $110.00 plus shipping back to you. Stick it on the Greyhound bus and it comes right to Courtenay, BC. Turn around time about 2 days (not including bus time of course). Bus usually goes every day to Down Town Vancouver terminal and I can COD the shipping at your end. People on the Island, PM me for drop off location..
I am on Vancouver Island/Comox Valley. Contact me for info.
