i went to mexico and bakc and "dived" maybe 150 liters total. almost all the oil i used in the US was given to me for free, filtered and dewatered. in mexico it was gifted to me from the restaurants.
it was offered to me in the US for $.50 to $2.00 a gallon for sale, but i managed to not have to buy any.
i think even $.70 a liter is WAY too much. perhaps half the pump price or $.50 a liter for good super filtered or centrifuged oil might be reasonable. but i dont mind giving it away, for now...

Ok - I was actually meaning "new oil", when I used the SVO term (and yes, it's a debate that's gone on for years, differentiation, acronymns, etc., but anyway...) I should have specified that.
Going price for WVO seems to be 25 to 50 cents a litre.
But if someone was offering very good NEW oil for 70 cents to a dollar, would you buy it? If the other choice was diving, or diesel, during some long road trip? I know I would. Just wondering what others think.

I plan on having my centrifuge built into, or towing behind the van for long road trips so I wouldn't pay for SVO, maybe 25 cents per litre .
