I would love to see some pics from the CVI appreciation day.
I just gave a deposit for a '92 Super Exceed from Mardy. I can't wait. It arrives mid July, which means it will be to late to use on the clans trip tp Tofino/Parksville. The good thing is it will be the last time I have to pull the Boler with the Voyager.
Here are some pics.

That's a nice looking van, Flyfishin ~ but it appears to be missing the skid plate that protects the steering gear (between the front wheels).

That's why I love this site.
Thanks for that Falco. I will try and find one.
Could there be more of an outstanding issue as to why it is not there?

Don't waste your time. It's still overseas. I hope to see it late July.

So you and Sasquatch will both be Delica owners with Bolers. I am looking forward to a video of Boler Racing in 4 Wheel Drive lowest gear.

It is pretty standard, not quite as bad as getting your van with a door missing but I would expect that skid plate to come with the van, it does do an important job protecting your steering. The plate is held on by two 14's and four 12's and is strong enough to protect against falling on a rock, as Patty discovered one trip up the West Harrison system.

Thanks Falco. I will try and see if I can track one down. Not sure if I just saw a thread regarding someone who was making skid plates.......

That's not the same skid plate. That one protects the radiator and is after market. The one that is missing goes between the front wheels and protects your steering rack and comes with the vehicle. There is a thread about a driver who is parting out a Delica ~ you might take a look at that but if it were me ~ I would want the seller to provide that plate as it should come with the vehicle and they are a dime a dozen, as it were.

The zine plated factory plate is only an optional equipment. Actually most Super Exs don't have them. The plates are standard for only those Cold Weather All Season Outdoor Players models.

Flyfishn, We went out for a drive in the AC Cobra the other night. There was a Hyundai trying to race us.
