Hey,
I was in squamish last week with my van, parked right beside another one, and was talking to the owner, the regular stuff. however this deli, a 92 exceed had no daytime running lights, original headlights, no side reflectors, non DOT japan tires. But it was insured, had a bc vin, so whats up with that? I went through all the hoops, as do most of us. my deli is ULTRA compliant, and of course it cost more, time and $ to make it that way. The owner of this one said it was no big deal, and wasnt "keen" on spending the money for "unessessary" accessories, and it was going to be a "hassle". Mentioned that the importer they bought it from told them it was optional wether they chose to do the lights ect. I said they might have an icbc issue if there was ever a claim. The response was..................
"Whatever."
just thought i would share it, didnt sit right with me , thats all.
Sid.
