Hey,
I have been tote hunting for a while and finally found
some worthy candidates.
1200 Litres (around 300 gallons)
2 inch cam-lock with a threaded cap.
(Not the dumb metric one that is hard to source parts for.)
Nice tube aluminum cage and base, a bit smaller footprint then some
totes I have seen.
I had 10 and now have 6 left.

Do you know what fluid was in these totes?
Do the valve and handle work well?

Also these totes can be stacked 3 high,
would want it to be on nice flat concrete
if I was going that high.

They had pure petroleum lubricants in them.
The valves are all good.
Having said that, on the WVO/Bio-diesel
forums I have been reading, people seem
to like puting on another Gate or ball valve at
some point either to be super safe (two inline valves)
or to change it out.(one more Skookum valve)

I think I am going to build a platform on top of one of mine,
(with side pillars) and do a cold upflow thing from a barrel
down and up through the bottom cam-lock valve.
Delicat seems to like the cold upflow thing,
it can't hurt and it will save me a bit of space in my shop.
The upflow concept is pretty solid and might speed settling a bit.

Got a few totes left,
if there is more intrest I will see if I can procure more.
Happy to hook up people with totes ,
makes my semi-relentless
Tote-quest worthwhile.

Those are nice totes, I tempted to get another one, but two should be sufficient for personal use, shouldn't it? Although stacking them 2 high would mean I could have 4 with the same foot print......

OK, I shouldn't really ever need to store 4000L of filtered oil. I do have a biodiesel friend that was interested in picking up a several more totes, so if you are looking to unload or want to hook him up I'll send you his contact info.

They are 1500 litres I think,pretty damn sure they won't fit in a Delica though.

I am getting ahold of some 1000l totes too that I am just about positive will
fit in a deli (talk about a range booster eh! )
I have been retarted busy and will get ahold of everybody in sequence
as they have PMed me.

I have three 1200 liter totes left
and one 1000l (fits in a l300 highroof with the back seat taken out)

I dare not fill another with WVO for fear of
of psychotic violent behavior
and general retributive malaise that
is never far from the surface of my lovely,
intelligent and pregnant nesting spousal
counterpart.

I do still think Delica is a good girls name...hehehe

If you stack 2 of them, are you able to get to the top fill hole for the bottom? I have about 4000L of wvo now, and 3 of the thin Hydrolic oil, and I would LOVE to get all these 5 gallon buckets out of here and these cardboard cubies..... let me know

24 (or so) square feet of backyard-spousal
-land-use-negotiation bargaining leverage!
