i've got a '87 American version of the "Mitsubishi Van Wagon" that i've had for years. i'm SICK of the 2WD and the 2.4L 'petrol' engine, and would LOVE to get a Left-Hand-Drive / 4WD / diesel (with sunroof(s) and NO camper package).

question is: HOW?

i live in Portland, Oregon...so it's a short trip to B.C., but i notice lots of brokers on eBay say they won't (or can't) sell to Americans. anybody got any insights? or the vehicle i've described for sale?

asked frequently, some people have even talked about making it happen. NONE have ever reported success.
