hello every1, my name is jeff from norcal (north california)....... been a member for approximately 2 weeks now and finally decided to introduce myself and my deli.

she's a 91 super exceed and is located in the philippines.... too bad jdm suplus vehicles are not allowed in the states; anyways , bought on 6/2/09 for approx 150000pesoses ($3000) and will send to my moms province to do some light labor chores...enjoy the pics

specs: 91 model, super exceed, two tone body color, originally rhd and was converted to lhd, stock trim for now

future mods: lower her a bit, pillar mounted spot lights "police type", sliding windows, luggage carrier, aftermarket 15", mp3 stereo, etc

btw; i already got the rear sliding windows... off of a 89 usdm deilca 2wd at a salvage yard, luggage rack (craigslist special), and the police spotlight off ebay.......... pics will come soon... i miss my deli already :-(

nahh... "california". u guys are lucky; if those rigs are available here, i'd prolly have a l3 and l4 at the same time... heheheheh

....yes, we are lucky. If 15yr old JDMs were importable to the USA we'd likely never have our Delica's here (ie. add an affluent competing market of 300 million people and suddenly there'd be none left at a price co$st-effective for resellers here to import). Though if Delicas (and Hiaces etc.) were running around in the USA maybe the automakers there would get a clue and start making more sensible efficient designs.

Anyway, congrats on the new purchase! $3K seems like a screaming good deal if it's mechanically sound. What's up with the shifters? It almost looks like a 5sp shifter on the right, auto on the left?

Also, when you put in your sliding windows let us know how it goes. I thought I'd read on here somewhere that when converting to sliders there's some seal that's required that's not present with the pop-outs (I searched briefly but didn't find much info on it).

looks like its just the transfer case shifter and the auto shifter, but since it's LHD they are on the opposite sides your used to with RHD
