Difference in models between year?

I've diligently looked for info about this on the form with little luck. (I'm a noobie so, moderator feel free to move topic if needed or point me to the right place).

What are the main differences in models between year? I'm looking at L300 models in years 90 - 93. Are there significant differences from year to year that I should be considering in a purchase? Is the 1990 Delica virtually identical to the 92? I'm shopping and need a bit of advise for what to look for while I kick-the-tires.

Ya, I searched through FAQ and didn't find anything. Want to know things like differences in motor, body, trans, etc, if any.

the only real difference that I know of is the lack of shoulder belt in the middle row pre 91 I believe it is. Motor, tranny, body, everything else is the same. There is a model year where the headlights changed from square to round but not 100% which year 89 or something.

wikipedia is a pretty good source for some of this stuff.

I've seen it many time on this forum but here's a review.

Before Aug. '91 the back seats didn't have 3 points seat belts, the captain chair's armrest weren't adjustable, they didn't have a rear side beam impact, they didn't have 3rd brake light nor rear (by tailgate) light. They didn't have inside driver/passenger's light ceiling mounted. There's still a few difference but can't recall right now.

After late '92 they got little dimple on the tailgate rear window f[r the water to run off.

The late july '93 got newer style AC gas and water-cooled turbo.

And in '94 the new L400.

That's a good start isn'it?

Cheers
David

Thanks guys. The details given here where nice to have when shopping. I looked around and compared and bought a 1990 Chamonix. It's in great shape - very happy. (only, the AC isn't working and holy crap it's hot out there the last two days. Gonna search the forum for info about AC recharge etc).
