don't know what your problem is, he is right, your ad should be in the other section as it is other than a Delica.

Please tell me if I'm the only one who has a Pajero or something simular here ?
Come on ...... Does it really makes your life so miserable since there's other Pajeros and Toyotas posted here ?
Is it because probably its the best deal here. I'm a normal honest working man that's trying to sell his favorite toy to someone who will appreciate it for way less $ then what I paid for it.

what the problem you posted in the wrong section of the forum, no need to get all bitchy because someone pointed it out (FYI usually people post that for a Moderator to see as you can't move you post anyways).

I don't think getting all defensive is going to help you sell you paj, might not hurt but really wont help.

I'm definitely not bitchy, I'm a very easy going person and its just sad that you're picking on my ad that's not the only one here and Pajero is the big father of Delica anyway and someone might like to go for a Pajero so no worries to flip it over when in extreme terrain.
I've posted my add here because it seemed to be as a very nice club and I'm sure it is but I guess like in life the exceptions are inevitable.
:-)

I think your confused, no one is saying that you posted on the the wrong site, but the wrong section of the site, this section "sales by private members" is for delica sales, just like all the others except the one called "Other Vehicles (Non-Delica)"

yes your right there is one other paj in this section, doesn't make it the right place, if they jumped off a bridge would you follow them?

as for not worrying about flipping a paj, I would like to see a side by side comparison of which rolls when, I doubt it's much different.

That could be a cool topic, Pajero with very low center of gravity vs. Delica with high center of gravity. I'm ready to hit the hills anytime.

ah so you know where the delica's CoG is? where did you find that info? just because the roof is a bit higher doesn't change the CoG all that much when 95% of the mass is still in same spot.

You guys crack me up!

I got a spare set of boxing gloves somewhere in my closet, that might be more entertaining than comparing COG! 8-)

I've owned all four.

North American Montero, JDM Pajero, Delica L300 and Delica L400.

The center of gravity is so similar to all four that it does not matter unless you load up the roof. Then there will be differences.

As for stock, they are all the same. I've had them all on the same shaped rock to test the articulation of each when I had them. All the same.

Your Pajero asking price is a good deal compared to what's out there providing it's in great shape.

Good luck with the sale.

:M

With such major differances such as Frame vs. No frame and seating, not to mention roof hight and length, I find it hard to believe that at the extreme they would have the same stability. I know they have the same running gear, but, with factory flares on most of the pajeros a wider track is easily attained without your tires sticking past your fenders (for legality reasons). What is the wheelbase of an L300 is it the same as a LWB or SWB pajero? There is a lot less vehicle up high on a SWB and from my memory it appears as though an L300 is the same as a SWB paj (I could be wrong). You can flop any vehicle, but in my humble opinion (I've been wheeling for many years and I mean specificaly looking for trails to test the abilities of a vehicle and flopping a few trucks in the process) it would be harder to flop a pajero (still quite easy to do) than a delica. Then we can go further and say, without cutting up a delica how high would you need to lift it to fit 35" tires? I lifted my Pajero 1 3/4" and fit my 35s with very minimal rubbing, 33" come stock on a J-top and fit all the others with no lift. Pajeros can come with factory air lockers, bigger tires with no lift and have their vulnerable bits in a much better location for wheeling than a delica. Then, if you want to modify one it has a frame = easier to mod + more resilient to the rigours of 4x4ing. I love delicas, but, to me it is quite obvious which one is more capable out of the box and which one is easier to mod.

that is all fine and dandy, but actually testing it is the only way to know, I find it intersting that you would post speculation and theory right after someone posted about actual test results
