I just wanted to publicly thank Butch and the crew at CVI for treating me and my van right.
I dont get a lot of chances to have the beast looked at by someone who is familiar with them-cold lake alberta seams to lack qualified Deli mechs, who knew??
He booked me in on short notice, gave me a deli-tune (wayyyyyyyyy worth it!!)
then put the van up on the jacks and showed me what I should do. no upselling, no broken flux capacitors.
He even installed a new ECU on the promise that i send him mine when i get back to Alberta ( it was being "repaired" by a friend)
Now my van starts and idles on its own without working the gas,
no more black ninja smoke,
milage is about 3 litres better/100km
belts dont squeal when its cold
etc etc etc
and to top it off, when i got broken into in chilliwack he tried his hardest to get me a new window-even tho he was in Banff on vacation!!!
Soooooooooo, enough ninja smoke up his bottom
Thanx again for the awesome treatment and service
