I had to get our full size camper out of the side of the house and the dodge is just to large for getting in behind the apple tree, so I used my Delica Pick up , couldent resist taking a couple picts, Posted them on Facebook and my brother said it looks like an elephant humping an ant. what do you think, It actually fits the Delica pick up better than the dodge as the Delica has 8ft box and dodge has 6ft box.
looks like alot of the import motor homes that have been coming over. and yes the delica pick up truck is the same 2.5L diesel as the L300, minus the turbo, but I picked up a turbo and the bits to put it on when things slow down.

That's hilarious! What does the camper weigh? Because I'm thinkin', once you install the turbo, it shouldn't have that much trouble carrying it. Although stability might be an issue due to the narrower track of the wheels.

And how are you going to get the camper back out from behind the apple tree once you've sold the Delica truck? You gotta little kei truck in that back yard of yours? Poor little truck, doesn't know even know what you're going to do to it!

I'm not 100% sure what the camper weighs, but the delica dident have any issues with it going around the block, felt a little tippy.... as the camper is very big, queen size bed in the over hang, I shuffled the yard around so now my 10x20 tent/"stuff" storage area is up against my far fence and the camper is easy to get to now. we were going to buy one of those import size campers for the delica before we found the big one.
Most people think the delica pick up truck is a Kei truck, but with a longer box, and with a diesel motor, sure seems like alot of engine for that truck, imagine your van with out the van body on it and the back end box only weighing about 200lbs... zoom zoom zoom...

Although Noel is selling his... a 3 inch lift and lower offset wheels/big tires would make it a very capable alternative. Anybody know if it shares suspension components with the strada/starwagon
