vurv console for sale - with cupholder

I have a bamboo console available for sale $300. It has one cupholder, and two compartments, one big enough for most map books. The arm rest is a little higher than the stock console. It gives you quite a bit more storage, plus a nice comfortable place to rest your arm. This doesn't include the lower console with the two additional cupholders, only the top one. Of course, this could be added for another 100. The last image of the wenge console is just to illustrate what it looks like open.

I posted this a while ago and have forgotten about it. I was doing some spring cleaning when I realized that I still have a partially complete console waiting for an L300. I have dropped the price down to $300. I love my console. If you spend a lot of time in your van, it gives you quite a bit more storage in the cab - and you don't have to lean way over to the glovebox to access it. It's a very easy install, just unscrew the old one, screw the new one in using the same holes.

And just to be clear, the one available is in Bamboo veneer.

That's one thing I definitely miss in my SWB - not sure there's room enough to put a vurv-box in though.

Thanks for the endorsement Paul. It's important to me that people like what I make, and I spent a lot of time and several prototypes getting the vurv box to where it felt right for me.

Nice new rig by the way. One of the nicest I've seen. It's interesting to see what comes after an L300.

After buying the console from Glen I must admit it is one of the most useful purchases yet. This console is a work of art, very well done.

Thanks glen

Thanks Jason. It was nice to meet you when you were out here, and I'm glad you are enjoying the console now that it has had time to settle in. I couldn't live without mine!

Any chance to get one of these in Europe? Would fit well in our self-made LHD camper... or a road map to build one?

Thanks

Sorry, the shipping costs are almost as much as the console. Canada post is the cheapest option I've been able to find, let me know if you know of something better.

I don't have drawings for these, I work from templates. You would also need access to a vacuum press and have some knowledge of veneering.

You could always just take a vacation here and carry one home in your luggage. . . .

Thanks for asking though
