I have been driving for a couple weeks with my recently acquired L400 from Fivestar Autos in Parksville. BC. The "Inclination Meter" on the center console is locked up. Is there a trick to make it operational? Mine just stays stuck in "neutral" position.

There are a couple answers to that one.
First. I have an inclination meter in my unit .. my wife has the inclination
to have me do something and I say yes dear. Works fine. Well mostly.
Actually there are a couple posts on the forum regarding that
so maybe do a quick search. Some have had success, some have removed it
to no avail.
Does it have fluid in it? Or has it drained?

You have to think harder before it will pick up the brain waves... "inclination", get it? Ah man, the jokes just keep coming.
Actually, the most common problem is as was cited earlier: check for fluid. Most of them have drained out dry and need to be filled again. Search the forum for what kind of oil to use - it's been cited before.
