After my horn stuck, I replaced my steering wheel with a 13" Grant. I hate it as the size is too small. Now that winter is around the corner I look forward to my signal lights and wipers being activated by my gloved hands every time I turn a corner.

I've seen some Deli's with some real nice wood wheels, most of them probably came from Japan that way. I'd like to know which aftermarket steering wheels larger than 13" you've had good experience with? What is the largest wheel that is in use? And if you know, did it require a conversion kit to fit it?

You need a steering wheel that is "dished" so there is more space for your mitts.
You will notice if you are looking at Lorco or crappy tire Ect.,it will sit deeper when you lay it on a counter.
The adapter you have for the grant should work for your next wheel too.

Thanks for that. So the dished wheel will solve the glove problems, and I'm still thinking going larger than 13" will make it wasier to read the instrument panel. I'm guessing that as I already have a Grant adapter I'd be best to find another Grant wheel rather than a Momo, etc.

I was looking at the Grant ones at Lordco , $150 - 250 for the nice ones, I bet a lot cheaper online. There is a nice Grant 14"one there though but they didn't have any adaptor stuff in stock. The stock Deli is 15" and about a 3" dish. The cheaper ones at CT and Lordco have a bellows plastic extendtion to account for deeper dish and look sorta cheep. If I come across something nifty I'll pass it on , also if anyone knows adaptor part # please post.
I plan to start woodyizing my interior this winter and want to start with the steering wheel if I can get a good color that I can match the otherstuff to.

I have a small grant wheel and I love it. The anti theft system does set it a little further back than normally from the levers.

Just get another grant wheel that you like. It will be a lot easier than pulling your wheel and going through that all again, especially considering grant requires a special wheel puller for theirs as well.

I got mine from Canmore NAPA, I think they had them in stock.

You're right about going with another Grant, I'd like to find a nice wood one if possible.
