It took me about two and a half hours to install the HID bulbs. They are 4000K with the slim ballast thingy. Bought them from some guy on Craigslist for $95.00.

Good for you! These fit the Deli quite nice and the 4000 aren't so blue so good combo!

Your lights look good and I'd like to compare mine sometime. I just installed 100 watt halogen bulbs and a relay for my lo beams. The lights are not as bright as new car blue headlights but give a great image on the road. I'm unsure if the lights would ever be noticed as off road as the lo reflector is so restrictive. It's still an experiment and can be changed back very quickly.

Have you seen the new audi DRL led strip? They look really cool. I haven't seen Mardy's new led lights except in a picture but wonder actually how bright they are.

What are the horizontal thin lights shown below the park lights? They look good!

Hi Wayne,

The LED below the signals are the Mardy's LED and they are my DRL. I thought of taking the Delica's headlight pods out and drill some holes for LED strips, but that is a lot of work. I use 4300K colour temperature, so the HID is the "factory" white colour. The conversion is very easy since the ballasts are the slim style. I mounted them below the headlight pods.

I just installed a HID kit from Hong Kong and so far it is working great. The kit was for the high beams (H1 bulbs) and the total cost in the end was about $50!! They are super bright and make a huge improvement. There was plenty of room to install the ballasts under the light pods. Install took about 2 hours and involved drilling a 1 inch hole in the back off the bulb access cover to feed the bulb and wires through. I am thinking about the low beams now but want to wait to see how this kit holds up. I am also wondering if the bulbs generate more heat than halogens (they use less power; supposedly 35 watts).
