space antelope 5000 WVO trip! goin' PHISHin!

i cant get enough of this band! saw phish for the 10th and 11th times at the gorge last summer. this halloween phish is hosting their 8th festival! 8 sets of music over 3 days, a carnival with art and music installations, and so much more! (including 50 kinds of beer!)

its a 5000km round trip powell river to indio, ca. i got WVO lined up in portland, sunnyvale (near SF,got from this guy on my mexico trip) and LA! facebook searches turned up some fellow greasers to fill my tanks
so send irie vibes my way, wish me, my wife, and a companion good luck, and keep the postive energy flowin towards the space antelope! (now with a 2"lift!)

yee haw! embarking today on the 11:20 AM ferry from powell river!
got the roof racks on (bought the tallest thules, and shit, the bar still touches the roof!)
got 200 liters of WVO , camping gear, coffee making stuff, yerba mate, ipod full of phish, with some reggae and a litle doc watson to boot!

Can't beat wvo road trip! I just came back from mine and what a feeling to do all that drive with so little diesel... Have a safe one!

been in LA two nights.. the freeways here suck! we had a pretty good afternoon yesterday cycling at venice beach...
next stop Indio, CA!

im back in LA after what might have been the best weekend of my life! for their haloween costume, Phish covered the Rolling Stones' Exile on Main street complete with backup singers sharon jones and the horn section from the Dap Kings. what a rock and roll extravagansa! 8 sets incuding an acoustic set rocked my world! the festie of 40,000 was cozy at the Empire Polo Grounds where they do the 120,000 people coachella fest.
and they played my Deli's theme song: Run LIke an Antelope!
the space antelop is back in LA. i picked up 200l of filtered oil and saw a biodiesel plant and a one talk mercedes system that cost $1500 installed....
headed north today, the Space Atelope has been running flawlessy, in the desert, even with 4 smelly hippies and all they backpacks and gears. we picked up a friend at LAX on the way down and hes gonna travel up with us.

hey! we're back home safe and sound! had no problems and with a purchase of locally made biodiesel in Eugene, OR did the whole trip on veggie!
who is coming on the delica tour with us and Phish next summer?
