Hello Delo's and Pajero's and everyone,
MiniMeet this Friday, 6 November 2009, 4:30pm to 7pm. At Ikea, Coquitlam. Send your spouse IKEA shopping, shove the kids into the ballroom, grab your 50cent hotdogs and $1 cinnamon buns from IKea bistro, and join us in welcoming Almac from Kelowna who is visiting the TardisDeli motel, along with his "new" Delica.
Al "Almac" is the proud new owner of The Beast, which is just bought from Andy Sorenson on the island. Come see the fantastic kitchenette and rear tire carrier and veg oil system that Andy built -- and be envious.
Al wants to see everyone's ideas for stuff to put in the deli's, and put faces to the names on the website. So please stop by to say hi, even if you can just stop for a few minutes.

Maryna was not feeling well so I took her home.
How was it ? Did you guys drive up and down the IKEA escalators ? You know Delica's can fit in there !

the meet was great.
BIG thanks to TardisDeli for their organizational skills, and the generous use of the TardisDeliMotel. very cool.
i think that thread about delica owners being 'better people' is pretty accurate.
was glad to meet you all.
loved the mods... compressors, intercoolers, lights, wireless adjustable shocks... oh my!
was pretty shocked when falco passed on his tailpipe to me...
i expect to spend a fair amount on mods, as soon as i can figure out my electrical 'running light issues'. wish i could've stayed longer, but unfortunately business comes before delis... heaven forbid!
when i get things figured out at my end, i will probably be posting a thread on my light issues. i suspect i will be tearing into my dash next week.
hope the rcmp doesn't bother me too much til then.

too bad you missed it jesse. the escalator rides were great; to the dismay of security!
