ok. here's my current debate.
Manual, or Auto hubs?

I currently have my hubs locked full time.
the tight cornering grinding is horrible, and worrisome... :-(

so now im looking at switching hubs.
i thought i read somewhere that the manual hubs were hard to find/rare.

thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

thanks bros.

Sorry, but you can find tons of information about that if you use the search. Even recently a few people talked about the advantages and disadvantages on this forum.

Al,

We can take a look at them tonight at Ikea.

From my past dealings with auto locking hubs on full size pick-ups, you didnt have to be cranked over to know they were hooped. Grinding on a hard over turn could also be CV Joints.

I'll bring along a floor jack tonight and then we can get a consensus from the Deli gearheads as to the noise.

And yes, from the looks of things, the manual hubs are getting scarce. Might be an idea to see if the guys that switched to manual are looking to sell their auto hubs.

See you tonight

I thought Andy had manual hubs on there.

Are you certain they are flanges ?

I agree with Felix.

There are LOTS of threads. A simple search would have answered your question. This can prevent multiple threads on the same Topic and help people from having to sift through numerous threads.
