It is a visual reference for the driver used to avoid hitting other objects with the front opposite corner from the driver. Used a lot overseas. If you look at a lot of the vehicles coming from Japan the passengers side front and rear corners are usually all scuffed up from rubbing various objects like other peoples Mercedes

I would like one that has the ability to Zap pedestrians upon activation for those that start to use the crosswalk after the "don't walk" sign comes on.

Dr Evil is definitely not a Trekky. It is his lingo we were using to describe a weapon of crosswalk and pedestrian destruction...........Kirk out.

I have to say...
" how have I survived without one" ;)
Maybe mount the family crest on a flag and put it up.

After parallel parking in a tight spot today, with my head out the window to see my right front corner, (which won't be fun when the temp hits -30) I thought maybe I should put a parking pole on the right side too. Any Idea how that would look?

It would look exactly twice as dorky as the single pole implementation.

I think my grandma has a parking pole on her 87 New Yorker.
