Got the flywheel changed.

So, finally.
A while back I posted that I was having a nice
buzz sound with the starter from time to time.
(manual tranny)
So finally got all the pieces together.
And the shop remembered I had an appt ;)
Did the flywheel (since it was used, and the ring gear
mint) - resurfaced before it was put in. Man are those
things heavy!!!! Much heavier than a torque converter.
Anyway we did the clutch at the same time since
it's out during the job. Just right too, it was wearing
thin.
While it was up on the hoist I scrubbed some of the old
crap off the skid plates and underside, rubbed with
solvent and then spraybombed it. Cleaned up nice
(that which I had time to do). I will defintely
do the wheel wells next.
Drives nice, no feelings of craziness and depression
when trying to start it either.
Happy Me:)
