The Delinium Falcon was in a collision!!!

I am writing this to tell you how impressed I was with the bush bars on the front of my Delica.
On Thursday night I was creeping home in the Muskoka snowstorm when this guy came flying out of a side road in front of me and slammed into a car going the opposite direction to me. The driver hit the other car so hard they both ended up in my lane, in the split second before impact I tried to avoid them without swerving by aiming between them however I hit both of them at their back panels. No one was hurt (except my heart when I got out to look at my Deli).
The other cars were totaled but after the police showed up and all the reports were filled in I managed to back my baby out of the ditch and drive home albeit a bit beat up.
Not sure of all the damage yet but for now both bush bars are wrapped tight to the front of the van, one fog light and one head light is smashed and the passenger front end was pushed in just enough to impinge on the passenger door.
My co-worker and passenger was impressed with the strength of the front bars especially when we saw the damage to the other guys car. I made a comment about wishing this could have happened to our other car but he reminded me that if we had been in a car it would probably been a write off.
So now I start the fun job of getting it repaired and finding parts. Thankfully my insurance agency has been awesome so far.
