Ghost in the machine

i noticed something odd today.
i noticed that when out of gear, at idle my deli was idling at around 1100RPMs. :?
it drives strange, almost like the choke is on(it isn't). i suspect this is REALLY bad for my clutch during shifting too...
when i shut off the heater fan, the RPMs drop down to around 750. everything else appears to be working fine...

any ideas? am i starting to have alternator/electrical issues?

Switch off the A/C and the idle speed should drop. There is a vacume operated idle speed solinoid on the side of the fuel pump which brings up the idle speed for the A/C.If its going up to 1100 rpm's its slightly high and you can adjust it down slightly but you will need some small wrenches. If you look at the fuel pump where the throttle cable mounts its just below that.
900 to 950 is ideal but you can always leave yours if you do not want to tackle the adjustment.
Hope this helps to remove those ghosts!!
