Does anyone know if a Chamonix middle bench can be put into a Super Exceed Delica that had the Captain's chairs? Do they bolt into the same place? or would I have to make some modification?
Many thanks

my bench doesn't slide on rails, it is fixed on position. But there are a lot of differences between the pre 1990 ones, I don't know if this is a year thing or a chamonix thing.

Kuan,
I just checked, my chamonix with the bench vs my super exceed with the twirly captains chairs.
Looks like they are incompatable.

Thanks guys.
Sid, does it look like it would be very difficult to make it compatible? I wonder if the super exceed has the bolt holes under the carpet?
hmmm....
Does anyone have a pic of their bench and how/where it bolts in to the floor? I guess I'll give up on that idea.

The exceed's do not have the bolt holes under the carpet (I ripped out my carpet). But there is no reason you couldn't make some. I would say get the bench and all the fastening hardware with it and just make it fit. The internal dimensions are the same... so no worries!

long shot but home jobbers with the seat could end in some messy liability issues in the event of a crash. Even if you its not your fault at all, messing with seatbelt anchor points and seat mounts might make oyu more responsible for passenger injuries if it comes down to that. I'm not a lawyer, but yeah, its a nice society we live in.
