Ideas required to help solve why my 95 delica aint wanting to fire. A while back it began to have problems fireing in the morning....then the afternoon then all the time. Got to fix the fuel pump. But because i was forever keying the iginition it doesnt click anymore on the half turn and refuses to fire. I've taken off the battery and recharged it. should i replace my glow plugs, they were last replaced around about 18months ago? I also change the brass buzz bar for a copper one. Someone local said it could be a fuse? Which would it be? Any ideas gratefully recieved.

You should only have to replace your glow plugs if they are burned away or the resistance is wrong (usually greater than one ohm) - not much point otherwise.

Sounds more like your starter solenoid is not working (lack of 'clicking') or your starter motor has finally given up the ghost (brushes are worn out).

which clicking isn't happening? the glow plug click? if so it's your glow plug relay/s, your ECU, the wire going into out out of either or both or a combination of all the above. I would look at the control wires that go to the glow plug relays, if your not getting any voltage at those when you turn the key to ON (when you should be hearing the click) then that wire has a problem or more likely the ECU has a problem.

What Christine is saying is that it helps us help you if we know these key pieces of information. We could then direct you to shops or people/owners in your area that you could possibly turn to for assistance.

As to the reference of a 1995 vehicle, in Canada we can only import vehicles older than 15 years, so this presently excludes the 1995 model (meaning we may not be familiar with the layout of the starting circuit if it has changed much from the early-90s models we have).

And finally, by "buzz bar" do you mean the bus bar that connects the glow plugs together? Copper is nice, but the aluminum one the vehicle came with was probably okay (unless it was mechanically damaged, ie broken). If there was a concern it was not conducting electricity well enough, a cleaning with a green scrubby pad and some elbow grease is usually sufficient to remove any corrision that may have led to surface conduction. This is not a high-spec circuit that would require one material over another solely on the basis of their conductivity.
