Any ideas where I could get this done in the LMD? I'll be putting a by-pass filter and would like to know how it's working out...
Thanks!

Go to Finning (or any other cat dealer). They have the best system. You get a little bottle with a needle on it that you insert into a small
fitting they can sell you. This prevents any other contaminants entering your sample. It takes a few (3-4) samples to set a baseline
trend for your engine.

With the by-pass filter that I have the claim is that you don't have to change your oil for very extensive period, (read 100,000km) and filters only once every 3 yrs or so.
Obviously I'm not gonna jump with my eyes close in that statement but would like to get the oil analysed at various intervals to see if it's breaking down or if it is actually still safe to run the oil for longer period and how long before it needs an oil change.
That's be basics...

X2 on finning , that what I do here in williams lake for my van and the backhoe! 15 bucks and 2-3 week is all it take.
100000KM sound ................. how should I say.......exagerated, and somewhat risky for your van engine?!?
Good luck !

Which by-pass filter system are you planning on running? I am skeptical of the claims of 100,000km, but there is no doubt that it will greatly increase the life of your oil and engine. Probably keep your oil clean enough to just put it in your diesel tank when you do an oil change! :)

It's the Tabor one that Fexlboi posted earlier... So sounds like Finning will have my business in the next little while.
Thanks guys, appreciate!
