I just finished my Maintenance on my new to me Delica (please remember to do maintenance on your rigs).
Love the Delica so far, very easy to work on! Lots of room well designed access!
What I got done so far:
-Cooling system flush
-Radiator pulled, cleaned, and repaired (it had a small hole that someone attempted fix with pour in rad patch)
-New tensioners, New timing belt/balance belt
-New radiator cap, water pump and thermostat (I drilled a small hole in it to stop air traps (old one had hole new did not)
-New accessory belts
-NEW RADIATOR HOSES!! (Old top hose had 10 pin holes and blew out when the rad shop tried to clean the system).
-Nice new Diesel Coolant
-Repaired the seals under front panels to keep water outside
-Fixed the drivers side mirror (just have to glass cut)
-New shocks up front (Monro $23/shock)
Still have to flush the 5 speed, transfer-case and axle fluids.
Drove home last night and the cooling system had pressure in it for the first time in years I suspect! Remember maintenance is an ongoing thing!
