I have it on both of my Delica but the side windows are only the "pop out" style. Never had an issue with the exhaust gazes.

Go for it!

I could be wrong, but I thought that (legally) the exhaust must leave the vehicle behind the last openable window... So if you don't open the back window, you should be fine. Unless you spend a lot of time stuck in traffic.

I have sliders and side dump....no issues. You'd have to have really beat seals or open window and be idling in a cross wind to get a cabin full of exhaust.

Hey,
Just get er done, you will love it and it will free up so much space back there.
Have it stick out a bit,my tire gets a bit of soot on it.
I really like the sound (go 2 and a quota)and being able to see how the exhaust behaves in the rearview mirror under different loads and different fuels.

Uh..how big a tank you thinking AO?

Right On! 8-)

dont know yet fer sure about the tank. i thought i might ask for the specs or pattern for andrewh's but i havent got around to asking him yet... as big as possible, and reasonable.... the one i got in is only 30 plus the stock rear tank for a total of about 70L. in the long road trips ive been carrying as much as 12 jugs in addition to the full tank. so id like to have more tank and less juggs (well, wvo juggs anyways)

If you look at my original install I had a tank there, where the exhaust used to be. I think it's called Mitsushi wvo install or close... You might be able to make it bigger but I found it difficult to link with 2nd tank and vent... I'd rather use that space to store tools, compressor, extra battery...

You did a good job on your rear tank but seems it could have been bigger, that's where Andrew's tank came handy. (I don't think he ever made a side tank).

Good luck!
